Two workshops this weekend

06th November 2009
This weekend is going to be a long one for me. I have two workshops, the first at Longshaw doing 'Water and Movement'. With all the recent rain this workshop should be fantastic. The weather is predicted to be good too. The second workshop, on Sunday, is an 'Advanced Landscape and Travel' day at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal. I hope the trees have held on to some of the leaves to make the day another good one.

Post weekend update:
What a great weekend. The first day was water and movement in Padley Gorge, Peak District. The rains of the previous week had swelled the water levels in the gorge, with some lovelly tea coloured run off from the peat moors. The rains kept off whilst we were out shooting, though the ground underfoot was really slippery. Some excellent images otained by the students.

Sunday was a trip up to North Yorkshire to Studley Royal but the weather wasn't too kind, grey overcast most of the time, with just a few breaks in the cloud to liven things up. The students still enjoyed the course and hopefully took away some useful tips and ideas about further landscape photography.
